Default Job Opportunity : Accounts Clerk

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will assist in the following job functions :

• Receipt of monthly reports from overseas offices / representatives, checking and recording the same in our accounting system,
• Issue cheques and preparation of journal entries.
• Ensure that all data entry to the Oracle Financials System is accurate.
• To prepare bank reconciliation statements.
• To participate in monthly Costs Allocation process
• To prepare balance sheets schedules and update these on monthly basis
• To assists on the ad-hoc reports assigned by the supervisors
• To ensure the processes under his/her charges are SOX 404 compliant
• Maintain proper filing and documentation

Requirements :

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or ‘A’ Level
• With about one to two years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and typing skills
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials System is an advantage
• Amicable, well-organized and a team player
• Able to start within short notice

Location : Near Aljunied MRT

5 days work week
