I'm Business Management Graduate.. I work as Regional Sales Manager.
I can perform Admin, Customer Service or Sales Admin job..

I been here in Singapore for almost a month now looking for a job. So far I can say that Discrimination is too high if you are a foreigner. Almost all companies do preferred Local or at least P.R.. Are there companies/ agencies that caters/accept skilled foreigners ? hope you could help me. I have tried many job application but all of them required Local or at least P.R.

My husband is working here as an Engineer and we are working on our P.R requirements now, according to his company it will take 3-4 months to process the papers..

Since we are still waiting for it Hope you could help me in looking for a job for foreigners like me.

there are instances that you really need them

i believe that these agencies somewhat do their homework in assuring the

jobseekers that their contract will be properly carried out...

or if not you can easily chase or sue these agencies...

and i believe for the employers tapping an agency is a plus in pooling workers for their

company... not to mention the techniques being employed by these agencies in

scrutinizing the would be applicants

(just my thoughts though)

So far, the agencies that I have been to are useless. To me, that is. They have never helped me find a job before. All my previous jobs are found by myself. None has helped me at all. Been to Recruit Express and Kelly Services and another one, which I have forgotten the name. Recruit Express may be helpful to many, but not to me. Probably because my agent is a lousy one? I forgot his name. Only remembered that he's a guy.
