Seeking For A Career Change

I have graduated in microbiology course but since graduated never been involved in this field. Right now after almost 2 years of involvement in the management & administration, i wonder if there is any employer out there would like to consider hiring me as a microbiologist. Disadvantages is that i have no working experience in the field that i am looking for and realised that i am no longer a fresh graduate hurts even more. I am like in the junction of the road, no direction to go. Have been applying for a lot of job in related field but still no answer. What do you guys think, do u think that i still have the chance? Should I wait and see? I feel like i have no motivation in my current job. Not the types that i would like to pursue.
