Our client is a Norwegian MNC in the oil and gas industry. They are looking for dynamic and responsible individuals to apply for the post of:

COST CONTROLLER


Role:

- Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being processed
- Interface with operation personnel to develop operation forecasts and analyse operation costs
- Operation cash flow forecasting based on a predefined budget
- Track operation costs, work and progress
- Differentiate operation costs and recoverable costs
- Supervise any supporting roles in the operation cost control area
- Prepare and control Work Orders
- Prepare timely Weekly Cost Control Reports; weekly financial reports; other financial analysis as required
- Implement financial controls
- Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between other team members
- Provide general operation management support to the rig manager and the team
- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the vessel
- Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow H&S procedures
- Co-ordination of Crews’ schedules
- Administration duties



Requirements:

- Degree in Finance and related
- Min. 3 years of relevant experience
- 1 year of project management or supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to work in fast paced, stressful environment
- Understanding of general accounting and contract principles
- Experience with computer-based spreadsheets, accounting systems, word processors and graphics systems


Note

5 days work week, 9am - 6pm
Location: PSA BUILDING
Salary: $3,800 - $4,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

TRAVELLING TO SOUTH EAST ASIAN COUNTRIES IS REQUIRED
