Please be informed that the Ministry of Manpower has revised its Tripartite Guidelines on Non-Discriminatory Job Advertisements. Apart from the policy that disallows advertisers to discriminate against race, religion, age, gender and marital status, please keep in mind these additional guidelines:
- Employers should justify the need for any particular language or gender requirements in their job advertisements."Example: Women's Fashion Boutique requires salesgirl to model clothes while on the job." - Phrases such as "female working environment" or "young working environment" should be avoided. Please Only registered and activated users are able to view links or images. to find out more about the revised Tripartite Guidelines on Non-Discriminatory Job Advertisements. All job advertisements should consist the following information whenever possible albeit not necessary. 1. Clear Job Title (Example: Admin Assistant - West / 5-days). 2. Detailed job description. 3. Detailed job requirements. 4. Other special instructions for job applicants. Example: Accounts Assistant (Central/5-days) Responsibilities: - prepare a full set of accounts, preferably using SAP. - prepare and fix interest rate with bank for loan rollover with banks. - monitor cashflow to pay for management fee re-charge from related company and also commitment fee, guarantee fee etc. - prepare monthly and quarterly reporting documents - deal with enquiries from auditors. - any other duties related to this company or assigned. Requirements: - Minimum LCCI or CAT with 2-3 years of relevant working experience - Familiar with MS excel and word. - Meticulous and responsible - Pleasant personality with good working attitude and punctual. - Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
